NO GIFT IS TOO SMALL
AACF's Youth Empowerment Campaign has set a goal to raise $45,000 to help support our youth programs. Our youth participants face multiple barriers to gainful employment. Many are dependent on government assistance or have no income at all. AACF provides two programs to assist young adults in finding employment and offers employment training geared by the participants chosen career path. With a push of donations, we can turn a youths life around and make their dreams a reality. Take a look at the campaign goals below to see what’s the best fit for you. ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT
The primary goal of the program is to assist low income and/or “at risk” youth to obtain gainful employment. Your help supporting this goal means we can focus on our next moves while improving what we have achieved so far. In return, you’ll have the feeling of being a part of something big. Donating a little bit of money or time may not seem like much. But if your donation is joined with others, it becomes something much bigger. COMMUNITY CONTRIBUTION
Chicago experienced its worst violence in two decades last year, with more than 4,300 people shot and 762 killed, according to Police Department statistics. But even more sobering are long-term data showing how Chicago came to be a national leader in joblessness among young people, particularly young black people living in the highly segregated neighborhoods wracked by violence. By making a contribution to our cause you will enable our organization to assists countless numbers of youth participants in finding permanent employment.
